About the role

Logistics Coordinator needed for a Major Offshore Wind developer in the Netherlands.   Responsibilities: Plan, arrange, and coordinate worldwide transport and shipping of project cargo and equipment in line with L&MM responsibilities. Monitor and track shipments to ensure on-time delivery and proactively resolve any transport or logistics issues. Prepare, review, and manage import/export documentation in accordance with destination-specific customs and regulatory requirements. Coordinate closely with Logistics Service Providers (LSPs) to optimize transportation solutions and ensure efficient cargo movement. Work with Country Logistics teams to facilitate smooth customs clearance and ensure compliance with customs regulations. Act as the Logistics & Materials Management (L&MM) focal point for assigned projects, supporting multiple projects and Offshore Resources vessels. Identify potential logistics risks or delays and propose effective mitigation solutions. Ensure compliance with company standards, procedures, and safety requirements across all logistics activities. Collaborate with Project Operations, Offshore Resources, and internal departments to support efficient project execution. Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and external logistics providers. Support the Logistics Lead and wider L&MM function with additional tasks as required.   Requirements Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related discipline OR a minimum of 5 years' experience in logistics or supply chain operations. Strong knowledge of international logistics regulations, including customs procedures, import/export requirements, transport documentation, and dangerous goods regulations. Proven experience coordinating international transport, freight forwarding, and customs clearance processes. Experience working with Logistics Service Providers (LSPs) and managing shipping documentation. Ability to manage multiple priorities across different projects in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. Fluency in English and Dutch (written and spoken) preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with SAP or Ariba is considered advantageous.
