About the role
Company Overview Taylor Hopkinson has partnered with a Marine Technology Company in offshore wind industry in Korea. Role Overview The SHE Manager is the designated practitioner for all company Safety, Health, and Environment (SHE) matters. The incumbent leads and manages the implementation and assurance of the company's SHE processes and systems, which must comply with corporate policies, standards, applicable laws, and industry-recognized best practices. Responsibilities: Set the QHSSE direction to be aligned with business goals, and champion all SHE related initiatives, plans and campaigns. Oversees all SHE matters. Administering and maintaining the, SHE statistics, records and more. Keeping service / business lines, projects and / or departments managers informed of their statutory, corporate, and contractual SHE obligations. Leading the development of SHE procedures. Improving SHE awareness and ensuring that safe working practices are carried out in accordance with both Company and statutory requirements. Adopting and formulating safe working systems and practices. Initiating appropriate action following receipt of a report of any accident involving health and safety and report of SHE meetings. Obtaining appropriate guidance from specialist services. Participating in management SHE and related meetings. Reviewing, advising, and amending contractual requirements on quality, health, safety, security, and environment. Developing and reviewing the SHE action plan for operations / projects. Organising and arranging SHE meetings and internal SHE audits. Coordinating, scheduling and assisting in SHE training / activities within the Company. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in engineering subject, or equivalent + 7 years experience in audits, SHE, risk and issue management Registered Workplace Safety and Health Officer (WSHO) with the local Authority or its equivalent Experience in similar industry with multinational corporation Offshore survey industry experience is also preferred Fluent in both Korean and English Location: Incheon, Songdo
