About the role
Lead Electrical Engineer for a major Carbon Capture & Storage based in The Netherlands Responsibilities Safety first: Ensuring that contractors and team members comply with HSE rules and procedures, ensuring that all operations comply with industry and project safety standards. Supervising pre-commissioning and commissioning of instrumentation, process control and safety systems. This includes point-to-point testing, walking tests, full functional testing of safety and control functions, and process control adjustment. Review and approve all instrumentation and control system transfer documentation, including Mechanical Completion certificates, Inspection Test Records, and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT). Monitoring progress in delivery and commissioning via the Completion Management Systems. Communicate and collaborate effectively with colleagues, contractors and suppliers. Requirements Completed bachelor's degree in instrumentation, process control or process engineering. Professional communication skills in English, preferably also in Dutch. Demonstrable experience in multidisciplinary project teams and collaboration with subcontractors. Experience with completions management systems such as Checcboard or similar. Qualified, trained and willing to travel and work offshore. Minimum of 5 years of project experience in testing and commissioning instrumentation, process control and safety systems
