Graduate Assistant Accountant

You’ll be involved in producing management accounts, analysing performance and helping the business make better financial decisions.

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘆𝗼𝘂’𝗹𝗹 𝗯𝗲 𝗱𝗼𝗶𝗻𝗴

• Assisting with the preparation of monthly management accounts
• Supporting the month-end process, including journals, accruals and prepayments
• Preparing balance sheet reconciliations and investigating variances
• Assisting with budgeting and forecasting
• Producing financial analysis and management reports
• Supporting weekly and monthly KPI reporting
• Reconciling bank accounts and key control accounts
• Maintaining the fixed asset register
• Assisting with year-end audit preparation
• Working with operational teams to improve reporting and financial understanding
• Identifying opportunities to improve finance processes and controls
• Producing ad hoc reports and analysis as required

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘆 𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗳𝗼𝗿?

• A recent graduate or experience working in an office environment
• Someone studying, or keen to study, AAT, CIMA, ACCA or ACA
• Strong attention to detail with an analytical mindset
• A proactive approach and willingness to learn
• Someone who enjoys working as part of a team and can manage multiple deadlines

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁’𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗶𝘁 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘆𝗼𝘂?

• Salary up to £30,000, depending on experience
• Study support towards AAT, CIMA, ACCA or ACA
