Salary: 32,000 – 35,000 + Bonus + Benefits

We are currently recruiting for a Practice Manager to join a busy and successful optical practice near Luton. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced manager who is commercially minded, passionate about leading teams and ready to take ownership of a thriving business.

The Role

As Practice Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the practice, ensuring high standards of customer care, operational excellence and commercial performance.
You will be leading a team of 25-30 staff, driving key performance indicators, conducting regular one-to-ones, supporting staff development and creating a positive, high-performing culture.

Key Responsibilities

o Managing the daily operation of a busy optical practice
o Driving sales performance and KPI achievement
o Leading, motivating and developing a large team
o Conducting appraisals, performance reviews and disciplinary meetings
o Maintaining exceptional customer service standards
o Ensuring smooth operational processes throughout the business
o Working closely with the directors to continue driving the practice forward

The Ideal Candidate

o Previous optical management experience is essential
o Strong commercial awareness and business acumen
o Proven ability to lead and develop successful teams
o Comfortable managing performance and driving results
o Highly organised with excellent communication skills
o Experience in a fast paced environment would be advantageous, although candidates from other optical backgrounds will also be considered
o A hands-on leader who enjoys being involved in all aspects of practice management

Working Hours
