About the role
Group Chief People Officer – Professional Services | Private Equity
This is a pivotal group-wide leadership role, responsible for building and executing a progressive people strategy that fuels business growth, enables seamless integration through M&A activity, and ensures our culture and talent agenda remain central to our success.
As a key member of the executive team, you will shape the people operations function across multiple businesses, driving initiatives that attract, retain, and develop exceptional talent in highly people-led, professional services environments.
The Opportunity
• Lead the Group HR and People function across multiple entities and locations.
• Design and deliver a people strategy aligned to business goals with a strong focus on growth, culture, and integration.
• Build a future-ready workforce, advancing talent acquisition, development, and succession planning.
• Drive cultural alignment post-acquisition, embedding engagement, wellbeing, and DE&I across the group.
• Oversee reward, compensation, and benefits to ensure competitiveness and alignment with financial strategy.
• Partner with senior leaders to implement organisational change and strengthen leadership capability.
About You
We’re looking for a seasoned, strategic HR leader who thrives in complex, dynamic environments. To succeed, you will bring:
• Private Equity (PE) experience – essential.
• Experience within partner-led and professional services organisations.
• Proven success in group-level CPO or equivalent roles, leading people strategy across multiple businesses and geographies.
• A strong track record navigating mergers and acquisitions, with expertise in integration and cultural alignment.
• Deep knowledge of talent management, change leadership, and organisational design.
• The ability to influence and partner with senior stakeholders at board level.
• Strong grounding in employment law, reward, DE&I, and workforce planning.
• Commercial acumen, analytical skills, and the ability to link people outcomes to business performance.
Why REM Associates
This is a rare opportunity to shape the people agenda for a high-growth, private equity backed group in the professional services space. You’ll have a genuine platform to influence strategy, drive transformation, and build a culture that delivers long-term success.
