An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Electrical and or Mechanical Project Manager to work for a renowned and established client. The ideal person will be an experienced Project Manager and have a background in electrical/mechanical engineering.

The Role:
• Participation in Electrical and or Mechanical services refurbishment and new installation projects to company requirements.
• Commence work on projects from conception through to final account and be responsible for the project process from start to finish.
• Demonstrate enthusiasm in providing excellent service for clients and in all leadership qualities.
• Responsibility of administration and delivery of Electrical/Mechanical services refurbishment and new installation projects.
• Ensure that on completion of the project the installation complies with the company standard and to the Contractor’s satisfaction for the successful completion of the project.
• Repeatedly review the company Electrical/Mechanical services standard specification to ensure that it reflects changes in legislation, project reviews and service excellence.
• Arrange and lead project review meetings, keeping minutes and directly action any arising issues.
• Responsible for problem solving and ongoing detailed site inspection.
• Actively manage and monitor health and safety on site
• Carry out other duties as and when required by the M&E manager.
• Accountable for undertaking consultation with clients and other interested parties in compliance with all company procedures.
• Work in partnership with staff across the company to ensure the delivery of corporate objectives and to represent the company at any meetings required.

Key skills:
• Experience of working in the Electrical and or Mechanical Engineering Industry
• Previous experience of project management, site work co-ordination
• A good knowledge of IT skills (Word, Access, Outlook)
• BEng(Hons)/MEng in an engineering discipline
• Excellent knowledge of technical audits
• Familiar with developing environmental and energy management
• Knowledge of all relevant Building Regulations
• A good understanding of site practices, and experience of inspections and surveys
• Renewable Energy experience an advantage
• CAD experience an advantage
