FLT Driver – Trafford Park

People Solutions are currently recruiting for FLT Counterbalance Drivers and FLT Bendi Drivers to join our well-established client based in Trafford Park.

This is a fantastic opportunity offering immediate starts, flexible shift patterns, ongoing work, weekly pay and genuine temp-to-perm opportunities within a busy and supportive warehouse environment.

In-house Counterbalance and Bendi licences are also accepted.

This role would suit applicants who have previously worked as a Counterbalance Driver, Bendi Driver or Forklift Truck Operator.

Pay Rate:

• £15.23 per hour

Working Hours:

• Night Shift
• 20:00 – 06:00
• Monday to Friday

Day to Day Duties:

Your duties as an FLT Driver will be:

• Operating a Counterbalance or Bendi Forklift Truck safely and efficiently
• Loading and unloading vehicles
• Carrying out pre-use inspections and reporting faults
• Receiving goods into the warehouse and stowing pallets
• Checking quantities and visual quality of incoming and outgoing goods
• Organising stock ready for dispatch
• Moving goods safely around the warehouse
• Following all warehouse health and safety procedures at all times

Essential Skills:

The skills required to be an FLT Driver will be:

• Valid RTITB or ITSSAR accredited Counterbalance or Bendi licence
• In-house Counterbalance licences will also be accepted
• Previous experience operating a Counterbalance or Bendi Forklift Truck
• Good communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and spatial awareness
• Reliable and self-motivated attitude
• Flexibility and willingness to undertake a variety of warehouse duties
• Ability to work effectively independently and as part of a team

Desirable Experience:

• Previous warehouse experience
• Previous FLT Counterbalance experience
• Previous FLT Bendi experience

Training:

• Full training provided
• Assessment required prior to starting
• Ongoing support throughout the assignment
