Trainee Chemical Technician

Pay: From £14.00 per hour

Job Description:

Our client based in Wishaw are looking for an other Industrial Cleaner/Trainee Chemical Technician to join their team on a 12 week Temp to Perm basis. This company specialises in chemical cleaning of different products.

Duties include:

• Taking in orders.
• Getting orders ready for dispatch.
• General house keeping.
• Cleaning pipes (power washing, acid baths etc).
• Heavy lifting/Manual Handling
• Working away from home a few times a year.

We are looking for someone with a willingness to learn and progress within the company, as they are looking to train candidates on the over head crane and the forklift trucks on site.

We are looking for people that have previous experience in an engineering, plumbing or chemical cleaning background.

This position would suit someone from a metal or engineering background, however not essential as training will be provided.

Hours: Mon to Fri – 08:00 to 16:30 (Over time available).

Due to the nature of the business, candidates must have their own valid drivers licence (No CD/DR’s), as you will be sharing the driving with a partner when travelling to and from sites.
