We are recruiting passionate graduates to join a specialist school in the SK12 area, supporting children and young people with:

• Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC)

• ADHD

• Emotionally Based School Avoidance (EBSA)

• Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs

• Speech, language and communication needs

The Role

As a Graduate Learning Support Practitioner, you will:

• Support pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups.

• Help students develop communication, emotional regulation and social skills.

• Work closely with teachers, Speech & Language Therapists and other specialist professionals.

• Deliver personalised learning and behaviour support strategies.

• Build positive, trusting relationships with young people.

• Encourage independence, confidence and engagement in learning.

• Create a safe, positive and inclusive learning environment.

We’re Looking For

• A degree in Psychology, Speech & Language Therapy, Criminology or a related subject.

• A genuine passion for supporting children and young people with additional needs.

• An interest in Autism, ADHD, EBSA and neurodiversity.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Patience, resilience and a proactive approach.

• Previous experience working with children or vulnerable individuals is desirable but not essential.
