English Teacher – Secondary School – Scunthorpe (DN17) English Teacher | Scunthorpe | September 2026 | Pay to Scale Available

We’re currently recruiting for an English Teacher to work in a secondary school in the DN17 area of Scunthorpe.
This is a full-time role teaching English across KS3 and KS4, supporting students with both classroom learning and GCSE preparation. The school is looking for someone who can deliver engaging lessons, manage behaviour confidently and build positive relationships with students.
The role is due to start in September 2026, although there may be an opportunity for an earlier start for teachers available before the summer holidays.
What we’re looking for

• QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
• Experience teaching English at secondary level
• Confident teaching across KS3 and KS4
• Strong classroom and behaviour management
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one
