English Teacher – Grimsby (DN32) – September 2026 English Teacher | Secondary School | Grimsby | KS3–KS5 | QTS Required
We are currently looking for an English Teacher to join a secondary school in the DN32 area of Grimsby from September 2026.
The role will involve teaching English across KS3 and KS4, with the opportunity to teach KS5 for candidates with relevant experience. The school is looking for someone who can deliver engaging lessons, support students preparing for GCSEs and maintain high standards within the classroom.
Applications are welcomed from both ECTs and experienced teachers.
The successful candidate will:

• Teach English across KS3 and KS4
• Potentially teach KS5 English, depending on experience
• Have a strong understanding of the secondary English curriculum
• Be confident managing behaviour and creating a positive learning environment
• Plan and deliver lessons that support student progress and engagement

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience teaching English in a secondary school setting
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one
