Science Teacher – Scunthorpe (DN17) – September 2026 Science Teacher | Secondary School | DN17 | QTS Required | ECTs Welcome
We’re currently working with a secondary school in Scunthorpe who are looking for a Science Teacher to join them from September 2026.
This role will involve teaching Science across KS3 and KS4, so the school is looking for someone who is comfortable delivering lessons across the Science curriculum and managing their own classes effectively.
Applications are welcomed from both ECTs and experienced Science Teachers, particularly those who can bring energy and consistency into the classroom.
There may also be an option for a sooner start before the summer holidays for candidates who are available.
The ideal candidate will have:

• QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
• Experience teaching Science at secondary level
• Strong behaviour and classroom management
• Good subject knowledge across the Science curriculum
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one
