Machine Operative

Connect Appointments is recruiting a Machine Operative to join an established bakery production business based in Bathgate, with genuine career opportunities for anyone looking to progress.

Please Note: Previous experience in a food production environment is essential for this role.

What’s on offer?

• Temporary to permanent opportunity
• 4-on 4-off shift pattern – giving you four full days off every week
• Working either 7am to 7pm OR 10am to 10pm
• Paid weekly at £13.22 per hour

As a Machine Operative, your duties will include:

• Setting up and operating production machinery to maintain a smooth and efficient line
• Carrying out product changeovers and machine adjustments as required
• Monitoring machine performance and reporting any faults promptly
• Packing and labelling products accurately to meet quality standards
• Following strict hygiene and health and safety protocols throughout the shift

To be considered as a Machine Operative, you will need:

• Previous experience in a food manufacturing environment is essential for this role
• A solid understanding of machine set-ups and changeovers
• A reliable, hardworking approach with strong attention to detail
• The ability to work at pace in a busy production environment
