Bakery Production Operative

Connect Appointments is recruiting Production Operatives to join an established bakery production business based in Bathgate.

Our client operates a busy production facility on a 4-on 4-off shift pattern – giving you four full days off every week – with a permanent position available on successful completion of a probationary period.

What’s on offer?

• Temporary to permanent opportunity
• 4-on 4-off shift pattern, choice of two shifts:
  • 7am to 7pm
  • 10am to 10pm
• Four days off every week
• £12.71 per hour, paid weekly

As a Production Operative, your duties will include:

• Operating production machinery to maintain a smooth and efficient production line
• Carrying out product changeovers and machine adjustments as required
• Packing and labelling products accurately to meet quality standards
• Following strict hygiene and health and safety protocols throughout the shift

To be considered as a Production Operative, you will need:

• Previous experience operating production machinery is essential for this role
• A background in food production or manufacturing is advantageous
• A reliable, hardworking approach with strong attention to detail
• The ability to work at pace in a busy production environment
