Connect Appointments is recruiting Driver’s Mates for ongoing temporary work with an established delivery business based in Cumbernauld.

Our client operates a busy delivery operation, requiring reliable and customer-focused individuals to support drivers across a 5-days-out-of-7 working pattern.

What’s on offer?

• Ongoing temporary position
• 5 days out of 7 – 7am starts
• £12.81 per hour – paid weekly
• Overtime paid at £19.22 per hour

As a Driver’s Mate, your duties will include:

• Assisting with the delivery and transportation of goods to customer locations
• Loading and unloading vehicles safely and efficiently
• Providing a professional and courteous service directly to customers
• Supporting the driver with navigation and paperwork as required

To be considered as a Driver’s Mate, you will need:

• A valid DBS/Disclosure certificate – essential
• Good physical fitness due to the manual nature of the role
• Strong communication skills and a professional, customer-facing manner
• The ability to work effectively as part of a team
