About the role
Connect Appointments is now taking registrations for Standby Labourers to join an established industrial business based in Grangemouth for a TAR shutdown starting 3 August 2026.
What’s on offer?
- Approximately 12 weeks of work
- Sunday to Friday, 7am to 5pm
- £13 per hour (Monday to Friday) and £22.88 per hour (Weekends)
As a Standby Labourer, your duties will include:
- General labouring duties across the site
- Industrial cleaning of property and equipment
- Standby and fire watching duties
- Assisting client staff as directed throughout the shutdown
Please note: Candidates must be able to pass a drug test and DBS background check prior to being put forward for this role.
To be considered as a Standby Labourer, you will need:
- Previous labouring or industrial experience is advantageous
- A reliable, physically fit approach to work
- Willingness to work weekends as part of the Sunday to Friday pattern
- Ability to pass a drug test and DBS background check is essential
