Blending Operative

Connect Appointments is recruiting Blending Operatives to join an established food manufacturing business based in East Kilbride.

Our client is a long-established business with over 100 years of history in the UK food industry, sourcing and blending specialist herbs and spices for the meat industry and beyond.

What’s on offer?

• Temporary position with the opportunity for permanent employment
• Three shift patterns available:
  • Night shift: Sunday to Thursday, 10pm to 6am
  • Back shift: Monday to Friday, 2pm to 10pm
  • Day shift: Monday to Friday, 6am to 2pm
• £12.71 per hour – paid weekly

As a Blending Operative, your duties will include:

• Safely operating machinery within a food production environment
• Loading and unloading the production line and picking and packing herb and spice products
• Conducting quality checks throughout the production process
• Heavy manual handling as required

To be considered as a Blending Operative, you will need:

• Previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment – essential
• Experience using an LLOP
• A reliable, organised approach to work with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
