AGE DriverLocation: RAF LossiemouthContract Type: 12-Month ContractRate: £18.75 per hour PAYE / £25.06 per hour UmbrellaWorking hours: 37 hours a week – Mon-Fri07:30-4:30 or around core hoursThe OpportunityMorson Edge is recruiting for an AGE Driver to join a busy military aviation support programme based at RAF Lossiemouth.This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a high-performing logistics team, supporting the movement of Aircraft Ground Equipment (AGE), Test, Measurement & Equipment Calibration (TMEC), and Role Equipment across the station. Your work will play a vital role in ensuring engineering and maintenance teams have the equipment they need to keep aircraft operational.Working within a highly regulated military aviation environment, you'll help maintain the efficient flow of equipment while ensuring compliance with defence logistics and airworthiness requirements.Key ResponsibilitiesTransport Aircraft Ground Equipment (AGE), TMEC, and Role Equipment safely across the stationDeliver equipment in line with operational priorities and maintenance schedulesSupport aircraft maintenance teams by ensuring equipment is available when requiredCoordinate with engineering teams, forward squadrons, support bays, and other onsite departmentsMaintain accurate transport records and equipment databasesEnsure all logistics activities comply with Military Aviation Authority (MAA) Part 145 requirements and the Defence Logistics FrameworkMaintain high standards of equipment accountability, safety, and securitySupport continuous improvement initiatives within the logistics functionCarry out additional logistics duties as required to support operational deliveryEssential Skills & ExperiencePrevious experience in a logistics, warehouse, stores, or transport environmentFull UK Driving LicenceGood organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workloadsStrong communication and teamwork skillsIT literate with experience maintaining electronic records and databasesExcellent attention to detail and a proactive approach to workAbility to work effectively within a safety-critical and regulated environmentSecurity RequirementsCandidates must be able to obtain and maintain Security Check (SC) clearance.Why Apply?Competitive hourly rates12-month contract supporting a key UK defence programmeWork within a professional and supportive logistics teamGain valuable experience in a military aviation environmentBe part of a role that directly contributes to aircraft availability and operational readinessIf you're an experienced AGE Driver, Logistics Operative, Warehouse Operative, Material Controller, Inventory Controller, or Stores Operative, we'd love to hear from you.
