Connect Appointments is recruiting HGV Class 1 Drivers to join an established logistics business based in Widnes – new pass drivers welcome.

Our client transports processed wood to power plants using walking floor trailers, offering year-round work with a choice of shift patterns across days and nights.

What’s on offer?

• Full-time position – ongoing work 12 months a year
• Choice of two shift patterns:
  • 4-on 4-off – four days off every week
  • Sunday to Thursday
• Days and nights available
• Average 12-hour shifts
• Paid weekly at £19.05 to £23.53 per hour

As an HGV Class 1 Driver, your duties will include:

• Transporting processed wood to power plants using walking floor trailers
• Completing all delivery paperwork accurately
• Maintaining safe and professional driving standards at all times

To be considered as an HGV Class 1 Driver, you will need:

• A valid Class 1 (C+E) licence – new pass drivers welcome
• A valid CPC and Digital Tachograph cards
• No more than 6 points on your licence, with no DR, DD, DG, CD, IN or TT endorsement codes
