Senior NPD Technologist, Leading Food Manufacturer, based in Leeds

As this leading food manufacturer continues its successful journey of growth driven by innovation, it has an opening for a Senior NPD Technologist to join their successful and growing team.

With end to end remit, and as a key NPD resource with the team, your remit is to lead the design and development of innovative, complex food products and processes, ensuring the scalability, performance, and quality of product formulations, as well as overseeing the quality of product formulation, trials and launches, to best practice standards. You will also mentor junior innovators, support their development, as well as participate in the recruitment of new innovators to join the team.

About You
Essentially, you must have experience of working in NPD in the food manufacturing industry, with knowledge of food science principles and technologies, as well as experience in product formulation and food safety/quality assurance.

You will have strong leadership and mentoring skills, be an innovative thinker and proven track record of driving new product ideas through the business, with particular success developing products with the retailers.  Essentially you must be a great collaborator and excellent communicator. A genuine passion for all things food would also be advantageous too.

Salary is £37k and it is work from home one day a week.
