Project Engineering Manager
 
Summary
Seeking expressions of interest for a potential upcoming project with starts expected towards the end of June. We are looking for a skilled Project Engineering Manager to support an onshore oil and gas development in Woking. This long-term contract offers competitive rates and the chance to work in a collaborative, office-based environment.
 
Salary
Competitive day rates (outside IR35)
 
Location and Working Pattern
Woking, UK – Office-based, 5 days per week
 
Responsibilities

Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary engineering teams on FEED and detailed design scopes
Oversee technical delivery and ensure design quality across engineering disciplines
Manage interface between engineering, procurement, and construction
Conduct regular progress reviews and address issues proactively
Ensure compliance with standards and project specifications
Resolve technical queries and provide guidance to teams
Mentor and develop engineering staff

 
Must-have Requirements

Demonstrable experience as a Project Engineering Manager in onshore oil & gas
Strong track record in FEED and detailed design execution
Ability to manage multiple engineering disciplines
Strong understanding of industry standards and processes

 
Nice-to-have Skills

Experience delivering projects to Aramco standards (SAES) highly desirable
Exposure to international and multi-office projects
