Mobile Electrician

Mobile role covering the Midlands region (base location: Regeneration House, Gorsey Lane, B46 1JU)
 
Rate:
£22.00 per hour PAYE + Holiday Pay (£25.19 inclusive)
 
Duration:
Until 30th September, with potential to become permanent
 
Vehicle:
Own vehicle required initially – mileage expenses reimbursedThe Opportunity We are currently recruiting for an Approved Electrician to join a well-established organisation delivering electrical maintenance services across multiple sites throughout the Midlands.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced electrician who enjoys a varied, mobile role carrying out both planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance. The position offers immediate work through to the end of September, with the possibility of transitioning into a permanent role for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities

Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on electrical systems and equipment
Respond to reactive maintenance issues across multiple sites
Diagnose faults and complete repairs safely and efficiently
Ensure all work is completed in line with current electrical regulations and company standards
Maintain accurate records and documentation of completed works
Liaise effectively with site teams, supervisors and clients
Travel between sites across the Midlands region as required
Adhere to all health and safety procedures and best practices

 
Essential Requirements

NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent)
Proven experience carrying out electrical maintenance, including both PPM and reactive works
Full UK Driving Licence
Ability to work independently and manage your workload effectively
Willingness to travel between multiple sites across the Midlands

 
Desirable Qualifications & Experience

18th Edition Wiring Regulations
AM2 Certificate
Previous experience in a mobile maintenance role
Experience working across multiple commercial or industrial sites
