General Assistant – Temp – School Westonbirt

We are currently recruiting Temporary Catering Assistants to join busy school catering teams around Stroud. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone reliable, hardworking, and passionate about working within school catering environments.

PLEASE NOTE: You must hold (or be willing to obtain) a CURRENT Enhanced DBS certificate to be considered for school roles. We are looking for someone who is able to drive aswell.

Pay Rates: £12.71-£14.18, depending on experience and site.

Locations: Primary schools, secondary schools, and academies across Westinbirt and nearby areas.

Key Responsibilities:
– Assisting with food preparation
– Serving meals to students and staff
– Maintaining high levels of kitchen hygiene
– Cleaning and clearing kitchen and dining areas
– Supporting the kitchen team during busy service periods

What We’re Looking For:
 – Previous catering or hospitality experience (preferred but not essential)
 – Experience in school or contract catering (desirable)

– Ability to drive

– Strong teamwork and communication skills – Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
– Professional, reliable, and organised approach
– Positive and enthusiastic attitude
