Job Title HVAC Site Engineer – Hinkley Point C
Summary
We are looking for an experienced HVAC Site Engineer to join a major infrastructure programme at Hinkley Point C. This role is ideal for individuals with a strong background in HVAC systems, capable of liaising between engineering teams and on-site contractors to ensure successful project delivery. This is an excellent opportunity to be involved in a landmark energy project, helping to power millions of homes with low-carbon electricity.

Responsibilities

Act as the main HVAC interface between engineering teams, site area/building leads, and contractors.
Support initial installation activities and ensure smooth progress through delivery, testing, and commissioning phases.
Share technical knowledge and expertise with site teams to aid project success.
Review and assess Field Change Requests (FCR) and site Non-Conformance Reports (NCR) for clarity, completeness, and practicality.
Evaluate remediation plans and confirm the most appropriate solutions for implementation.
Recommend appropriate delegation levels for FCR/NCR treatment.
Monitor trends in issues raised and work proactively to prevent recurring problems.

 
Must-have Requirements

Proven experience of HVAC systems or components within multi-disciplinary projects, ideally in the nuclear sector.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow rigorous engineering standards.
Track record of delivering engineering safely, to quality, on time, and within budget.
Ability to lead and influence stakeholders to achieve objectives.
Self-motivated with awareness of personal limitations.
Knowledge of contractual and commercial practices.

 
Nice-to-have Skills

Familiarity with risk mitigation in complex infrastructure projects.
Experience with large-scale energy or nuclear projects.
