Job description:

1ST Fix Carpenter required for a residential project. ITS Building people are looking for an experienced and hardworking 1st Fix Carpenter to assist our client with a project based in Brighton, East Sussex. Own transport required.

Daily responsibilities will include:

• Carry out 1st fix carpentry including stud walls, joists, flooring, roof structures and door frames.
• Read and work accurately from technical drawings and specifications.
• Measure, cut and install timber and sheet materials to a high standard.
• Work safely and efficiently on construction sites, following all health and safety requirements.
• Maintain good quality workmanship while meeting project deadlines and schedules.

Requirements for the role

• Own tools & transport
• Previous Carpentry experience
• References upon request
• You should have your own high vis jacket or vest, gloves and hard hat. These can be provided by ITS Building People for a small fee.

Training/Progression opportunities:

· There may be opportunities to acquire additional qualifications with this role on Health and Safety, machinery and traffic management

· Where a range of rate of pay is quoted the level of experience, qualifications & related training required is the minimum required in order to qualify for the lowest rate of pay quoted.
