Storeperson

NRL are currently recruiting for a Storesperson for work in Newmarket.
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: 9 monthsRequirements: Valid CSCS/ECS Site: Commercial new build 
Job Spec: 

Goods In & Delivery Coordination

Manage the receipt of all incoming MEP materials and equipment
Book in deliveries accurately using internal systems
Coordinate delivery schedules via the Tracking System to ensure smooth site operations


Logistics & Distribution

Organise and oversee the safe unloading of deliveries in collaboration with forklift drivers
Allocate deliveries to the correct loading bays and site locations
Sort, collate, and distribute materials into designated floors or sections across the site


Inventory & Records Management

Issue and accurately record all ‘free issue’ materials and equipment to subcontractors
Maintain clear, up-to-date records of all deliveries and material movements
Ensure all documentation is completed, signed off, and compliant


Stakeholder Coordination

Work closely with subcontractors, site teams, and forklift operators to ensure timely material handovers
Produce and manage handover documentation, obtaining relevant sign-offs from subcontractor representatives


Systems & Compliance

Upload delivery notes, handover documents, and records onto SharePoint/Dalux systems
Support waste management processes, ensuring materials are disposed of correctly in line with Wates protocols


Health, Safety & Site Standards

Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment at all times
Ensure all material handling and logistics activities are carried out in line with site health & safety regulations



 Working Hours:
7.30am-5pm Mon-Fri 
Rates of Pay: 
PAYE or Umbrella only - desired rate to be submitted alongside application
