HGV Class 2 Driver

Connect Appointments is recruiting HGV Class 2 Drivers for ongoing temporary work with an established logistics business based in Manchester.

Our client offers palletised, curtainsider and strapping work across the North West, with both day and night shifts available and up to 10 drops per day.

What’s on offer?

• Ongoing temporary position
• Day and night shifts available, averaging 8 to 12 hours per shift
• £15 to £17 per hour dependent on shift, paid weekly

As an HGV Class 2 Driver, your duties will include:

• Completing multidrop deliveries and collections across the local area – up to 10 drops per day
• Providing a professional, courteous service to customers and clients on site
• Completing all paperwork and delivery documentation accurately
• Adhering to driving hours regulations and road safety requirements

To be considered as an HGV Class 2 Driver, you will need:

• A valid Class 2 (Category C) licence with a minimum of 1 year’s driving experience
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph cards
• No more than 6 points on your licence, with no DR, DD, DG, CD, IN or TT endorsement codes
