Multi Skilled Engineer - Mobile (Trades and Labour)

On behalf of our client, NRL Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced Multi Skilled Engineer to join a mobile maintenance team operating across a variety of client sites in the Winchester area.This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified engineer with a strong electrical background to work within a professional facilities maintenance environment, carrying out both planned and reactive maintenance activities.
Location: Winchester, SO21 2SW
Duration: Until 13th September 2026
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm
Key Responsibilities

Carry out statutory Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) tasks in accordance with schedules and compliance requirements
Respond to reactive maintenance requests and fault-finding activities
Undertake a range of electrical and general building maintenance works
Diagnose faults and carry out effective repairs to minimise downtime
Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with company procedures
Accurately complete maintenance records and job documentation
Work collaboratively with a team of engineers across multiple client locations
Maintain high standards of customer service and professionalism at all times

 
Requirements Essential:

18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification
Proven experience within a Multi Skilled Engineer, Electrical Maintenance Engineer or Facilities Maintenance role
Strong fault-finding and problem-solving abilities
Full UK Driving Licence

 
Desirable:

NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Electrical Installation or Maintenance
AM2 qualification
Inspection and Testing qualification (2391 or equivalent)
Experience working in commercial building maintenance environments
