Summary
We’re looking for experienced Welders to join long-term nuclear sector projects at Sellafield. This role offers an excellent opportunity for skilled tradespeople who want to develop their expertise in a highly regulated environment. Excellent rates of pay, plus attractive hourly bonuses.
Location and Working Pattern
Sellafield – on-site role
38 hours per week across 4 days. Additional hours may be available depending on project requirements.
Client Overview
Our client operates in the nuclear industry and is involved in major ongoing projects.
Responsibilities
Perform welding tasks to the highest standards as per project specifications
Deliver Flux Core and TIG welding on a range of components
Read and follow detailed technical drawings and instructions
Adhere strictly to health, safety, and environmental protocols on site
Maintain quality assurance and carry out weld inspections as required
Accurately complete documentation and records
Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and standards
Must-have Requirements
NVQ Level 3 in Welding
Valid CCSNG ACE card or IOSH Working Safely certification
CSCS card
Proven experience using Flux Core and TIG welding techniques
Nice-to-have Skills
Prior experience in nuclear or similar regulated industries
Ability to handle complex fabrication and precision work
