About the role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Warehouse Supervisor to join our team on a 6-month contract in Petersfield. This is a key leadership role focused on driving team engagement, ensuring operational excellence, and supporting warehouse initiatives across the site.

Location: Petersfield
Contract: 6 Months initially
Shift: 14:00 - 22:00 (Monday to Friday)
Pay: Competitive hourly rate plus shift allowance

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and organise warehouse operations to ensure work is completed safely, accurately, and efficiently.
  • Support both internal and external customers, ensuring high levels of service at all times.
  • Promote and maintain a strong Health & Safety culture, ensuring all team members are trained and compliant.
  • Work closely with the Warehouse Management Team to develop a flexible and multi-skilled workforce.
  • Communicate key information from shift handovers and weekly briefings to the team.
  • Identify and escalate operational issues that may impact service delivery.
  • Manage and develop direct reports through performance reviews, coaching, training, and succession planning
  • Motivate and engage employees to achieve departmental targets and objectives.
  • Ensure GMP and BBS audits are completed as required..
  • Ensure all warehouse processes remain controlled and compliant.

We're looking for a Warehouse Supervisor who can lead from the front and create a positive, high-performing team environment.

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Previous warehouse supervisory or team leadership experience.
  • Strong people management, coaching, and communication skills.
  • Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to motivate teams and drive performance against targets.
  • Experience managing attendance, holidays, and workforce planning.
  • Strong understanding of Health & Safety requirements within a warehouse environment.
