Maternity Practitioner needed 21st July 2026, based in Surrey

First-time parents are seeking an experienced maternity practitioner to provide one day’s support while Mum attends an appointment.
Their baby is currently 3 weeks old, thriving, and is mixed-fed with breastmilk and bottles. She is feeding confidently from a bottle and has a tongue tie, which is due to be corrected in the coming weeks.
The family are looking for a confident, knowledgeable maternity practitioner who can step in seamlessly and provide reassurance and exceptional newborn care. The ideal candidate will be up to date with current NHS guidance, safe sleep practices, and have excellent newborn experience.
This is a lovely opportunity to support a warm and appreciative family during the early weeks with their new baby.

Location: Oxshott, Surrey
Gross 24 hourly Rate: £22ph Gross
Hours of work: 8am – 4pm
Days required: 1x 8hrs
Specialist or expert required: Qualified Maternity Practitioner
Minimum experience Level for this job: 5yrs experience within the role
