Interim Finance Data Analyst / Systems Accountant ?
Salary: £50,000–£55,000 day rate equivalent
Based in the North East
3-6 month contract
I’m working with a business that’s looking to hire a Finance Data Analyst / Systems Accountant to focus on finance systems improvement, data quality, and process optimisation.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys getting under the hood of finance systems and really understanding what they’re capable of.
The role:
- Working with Sage and related finance systems
- Reviewing and improving finance processes and controls
- Analysing data entry flows and identifying efficiencies
- Understanding system capabilities and advising on best?use and improvements
- Partnering with finance and wider stakeholders to drive better outcomes
About you:
- Strong experience with Sage (essential)
- Background in systems accounting / finance data / process improvement
- Comfortable analysing data, workflows, and system functionality
- Naturally curious about how systems work and how they can be improved
