Our client is a market-leading civil and structural engineering consultancy, and they are seeking an Structural Engineer to join their new office in Stockton-on-Tees.

As an Senior Structural Engineer, you will play a vital role in delivering structural projects from concept through to completion.

Duties & Responsibilities of a Senior Structural Engineer:

• Structural engineering design process, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Produce technical drawings, calculations, and specifications.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop integrated design solutions.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
• Contribute to business development and identify opportunities for growth.

The ideal experience of a Senior Structural Engineer:

• Degree in civil or structural engineering (or equivalent)
• Chartered or Incorporated Engineer status with a relevant professional body or working towards.
• 5 years experience within a engineering design consultancy.
• Capability in structural design and assessment of concrete, steel, masonry, and timber structures using UK Standards and Eurocodes.
• Proficiency with industry-standard software such as Tekla Structural Designer (TSD), Excel, TEDDS, AutoCAD, and Revit.
• Experience with specifying construction information, such as using NBS.
• Ability to complete structural condition surveys and reports to a high standard under tight deadlines.
