Freelance Digital Product Designer (UI-Leaning) - Contract * Title: Digital UI Product Designer (Freelance)* Start: Monday 5th January 2026 * Length:- 5 Jan - 16 Jan 2026- 22 Jan - 4 Feb 2026 (Two short contract blocks)* Client: Consumer-facing digital product* Day rate: £425 per day* IR35: Outside IR35 (Limited Company or Umbrella, not Sole Trader)* Location: London - Victoria* Work pattern: Hybrid - 3 days in-house - Tuesday to Thursday on-site each week (non-negotiable)* Work schedule: Full-time 5 days a week* Level: Mid-Senior The role We're looking for a Freelance Digital Product Designer with a strong UI and visual design focus to help deliver engaging, high-quality digital experiences. This is a hands-on role for a designer who cares deeply about craft, interaction and polish, working primarily across responsive web. What you'll be doing Design high-quality UI for responsive web experiences Work within and evolve existing design systems Create prototypes, micro-interactions and transitions Collaborate with content, editorial and development teams Iterate on designs based on user feedback and testing What we're looking for Strong UI-leaning Product / Digital Design portfolio Experience working with design systems and component libraries Confident using Figma for design and prototyping Solid understanding of UX, visual design and brand Comfortable collaborating in a fast-moving team *Rates depend on experience and client requirements
