A global engineering manufacturer operating within the live events and specialist structures sector is looking for a Waterjet Operator to join its production team.

The site produces intricate mechanical structures and assemblies for large-scale installations and touring projects. This role forms part of the machining function, focused on accurately cutting and preparing components using waterjet equipment.

The Role

• Operating waterjet cutting machinery to produce components that meet specification
• Setting up jobs according to drawings, work instructions and material requirements
• Safely loading and unloading materials
• Checking finished components to confirm accuracy and quality standards are met
• Performing basic machine maintenance and general housekeeping
• Liaising closely with production and engineering teams to maintain workflow
• Adhering to health and safety procedures at all times

What We’re Looking For

• Previous experience operating waterjet machinery or similar CNC/profile cutting equipment
• Ability to interpret and work from engineering drawings
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Comfortable working within a manufacturing or engineering setting
• Basic IT skills for logging and tracking jobs
• Experience working with metals or engineered materials is advantageous
