About the role
We’re seeking an experienced Site HSE Advisor to support a major Liverpool Bay decommissioning and carbon capture project, based in Talacre, Wales. This role suits professionals with strong safety management expertise in Oil & Gas and construction environments. You’ll have the opportunity to make a real impact on a high-profile project.
Salary
£550 per day (Outside IR35)
Location and Working Pattern
Talacre, Wales – fully on-site. Please note, there may be occasional Saturday morning requirements.
Client Overview
Our client is delivering one of the most significant projects in the region – the decommissioning of Liverpool Bay assets while integrating carbon capture initiatives. Committed to high safety and environmental standards, they are looking for dedicated specialists to join their team.
Responsibilities
Drive HSE awareness through workforce engagement and training initiatives
Conduct site inspections and monitor contractor and equipment compliance
Manage risk assessments, Job Safety Analysis, and safe work practices
Oversee Permit-to-Work systems and hazardous material controls
Report on HSE performance, track KPIs and assist with incident investigations
Promote environmental compliance and sustainability throughout site operations
Must-have Requirements
NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent qualification in HSE or engineering-related field
Several years’ experience within the Oil & Gas sector
Knowledge of onshore project construction, regulations and standards
Ability to manage safety systems and risk controls effectively
Nice-to-have Skills
Experience with IOGP and IMCA contractor standards
Previous involvement in EPIC (Engineering, Procurement, Installation, and Commissioning) phases
Flexibility to support occasional Saturday working requirements
