Data Solution Architect- Inside IR35

Job Title: Lead Data Solutions Architect Location: Remote (UK-based) Job Type: Comtract - Inside IR35 Role Overview We are looking for a Lead Data Solutions Architect to design and deliver cloud-based data platforms for enterprise clients. You will lead the end-to-end architecture and technical delivery of modern data solutions, working closely with engineering, architecture, and business teams in an Agile environment. This role requires strong Snowflake expertise, hands-on architectural leadership, and confidence engaging with senior stakeholders. Key Responsibilities Lead architecture and delivery of end-to-end data solutions Own Snowflake-based data platform design and implementation Guide teams across data engineering, architecture, and QA Apply modern data patterns including Data Mesh and Data Fabric Define data product strategies and product-led architectures Engage stakeholders and ensure high-quality technical delivery Ensure solutions meet governance, security, and compliance standards Required Experience Senior/Lead-level experience in data architecture Proven delivery of Snowflake data platforms Consulting or enterprise delivery background Experience leading architectural strategy and delivery teams Insurance experience beneficial but not essential Technical Skills Strong hands-on Snowflake expertise Cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, GCP Data modelling, warehousing, pipelines, analytics ETL/ELT tools (eg DBT), SQL, NoSQL Apache Spark and big data technologies Python, R, or Java (beneficial) Data visualisation and DevOps principles Understanding of ML/AI integration in data platforms Governance & Delivery Data governance, security, and compliance (GDPR, etc.) Agile delivery (SAFe, Scrum, Kanban) Ability to manage architectural deliverables across timelines and resources *Rates depend on experience and client requirements
