LGV 1 Container Driver (Ltd or PAYE)

GKH Recruitment require Class 1 day drivers for our client in the Aldridge area. We can accept drivers with their own limited company.

Duties include transporting containers across the UK, ensuring that all products are delivered before the deadlines given.

Container experience is essential. Valid cards (ie dock cards, Hams Hall) would also be an advantage but not a necessity as we can arrange to get these sorted.

The hourly rate of pay is £17.00 per hour with a minimum 8 hours paid for each shift.

Shifts start at around 06.00-07.00 and usually average around 8-10 hours per shift. The job is available Monday to Friday, though we can cater for drivers who just want a few odd shifts each week.

Due to restrictions within our insurance policy applicants must have held their LGV licence for a minimum of 2 years with no more than 6 endorsement points. Also we cannot accept applicant with DD, DR or IN convictions.

A valid Driver Qualification Card (CPC) is also essential to this role.
