About the Role

A supportive and inclusive SEN school in Walsall is seeking a dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant to join their team on a part-time basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about helping children with Special Educational Needs, including Autism, ADHD, learning difficulties, communication needs, and SEMH.

You will be working alongside experienced teachers and support staff, helping to create a nurturing and positive learning environment where every child can thrive.

✅ Experience supporting children or young people with SEN ✅ A patient, calm, and encouraging approach ✅ Strong communication and relationship-building skills ✅ Passion for helping pupils achieve their goals ✅ Ability to work collaboratively within a supportive team ✅ Relevant SEN training or experience (desirable but not essential)

Key Responsibilities

• Support pupils with SEN on a 1:1 or small-group basis

• Work closely with teachers, SENCO, and other support staff
