About the role
Job Title: Security Installation and Commissioning Engineer
Location: Swindon
Salary: From £32,000 to £40,000 per annum
Are you looking for a Security Installation and Commissioning Engineer position working in Swindon? As a Security Installation and Commissioning Engineer, you will be expected to install, configure, and commission electronic security systems across commercial sites, ensuring projects are delivered to specification and fully operational. You will be working for an established security company carrying out projects across the region.
Responsibilities:
● Install CCTV, access control, and intruder alarm systems across commercial sites
● Carry out system configuration, testing, and commissioning
● Fault-find and rectify issues during project handover
● Complete installation and commissioning paperwork accurately
Experience and Certifications required:
● A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role
● Experience installing and commissioning electronic security systems
● Strong understanding of CCTV, access control, and intruder systems
● ECS / CSCS Card preferred
● Manufacturer training beneficial
