About the role
Job Title: Security Commissioning Engineer
Location: Newcastle upon Tyne
Salary: From £36,000 to £44,000 per annum
Are you looking for a Security Commissioning Engineer position working in Newcastle upon Tyne? As a Security Commissioning Engineer, you will be expected to commission electronic security systems across commercial sites, ensuring systems are fully configured, tested, and handed over to the required standard. You will be working for an established security company delivering projects across the region.
Responsibilities:
● Commission CCTV, access control, and intruder alarm systems
● Carry out system testing and final configuration before handover
● Identify and rectify faults during commissioning stages
● Complete commissioning records and technical paperwork accurately
Experience and Certifications required:
● A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role
● Experience commissioning electronic security systems
● Strong understanding of system testing and final setup
● ECS / CSCS Card preferred
● Manufacturer training beneficial
