Job Title: Quantity Surveyor – Office Based
Location: Nottingham
Salary: From £40,000 to £45,000 per annum

Are you looking for a Quantity Surveyor position working in Nottingham? As a Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for supporting the commercial and financial performance of multiple projects, ensuring costs are controlled, and commercial processes run efficiently from start to finish. You will be working for a specialist contractor operating within the fire safety and retrofit sector.

Responsibilities:

● Prepare and manage project budgets
● Monitor project costs and support effective cost control
● Manage subcontractor pricing, valuations, and payments
● Process variations, invoices, and commercial documentation
● Support cash flow forecasting and commercial reporting
● Work closely with internal teams to resolve commercial issues
● Maintain accurate records and clear communication throughout projects

Experience and Certifications required:

● Previous experience in Quantity Surveying or commercial management
● Experience within construction, fire safety, retrofit, or a similar sector
● Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail
● Confident communication and negotiation skills
● Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
● Comfortable working full-time in an office-based role
