About the role
Job Title: PAVA Commissioning Engineer
Location: Berkshire
Rate: £300 p/day
Are you a PAVA Commissioning Engineer available for a contract in London? We’re recruiting for an experienced commissioning engineer to support works on a shell and core project, focusing on PA racks and system verification. You’ll be working on Penton Boutique PAVA systems, carrying out initial set-up, fault-finding, verification, and testing. Strong communication skills are essential, as you’ll liaise directly with the commissioning manager on site.
Description of contract/programme of works:
● Commissioning of PA racks (Penton Boutique)
● Initial system set-up
● Fault-finding and system verification
● Testing across approximately 5 racks, 25 zones, and 2 circuits per zone
● Working on an open protocol PAVA system
Experience required:
● A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a commissioning role within fire or PAVA systems
● Experience commissioning PA/PAVA systems
● Strong fault-finding and testing experience
● Experience with Penton Boutique preferred (Baldwin Boxall experience also suitable due to open protocol)
● Confident communicator able to liaise with site management
Required documentation/certifications/tooling:
● Relevant ECS/CSCS card
● Own commissioning laptop and relevant software
