Job Title: Junior CCTV & Electronic Security Service Engineer
Location: North London
Salary: From £25,000 to £30,000 per annum
Are you looking for a Junior CCTV & Electronic Security Service Engineer position working in North London? Are you keen to build a long-term career within the electronic security industry? As a Junior Service Engineer, you will be trained across CCTV, Access Control, IP systems and structured cabling, working alongside experienced engineers on commercial and high-profile sites. You will be working for a well-established electronic security business with an excellent reputation across shopping centres, government and education sectors.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a technical mindset who is either currently working in a technical role, recently completed a relevant college course, or is looking to progress within the security industry. Full training and career progression are provided.
Responsibilities:
● Assist with the installation and servicing of CCTV and Access Control systems
● Work alongside senior engineers on commercial and high-profile sites
● Learn and develop knowledge of IP technology and structured cabling
● Maintain high standards of customer service and professionalism
● Support fault-finding, diagnostics and commissioning activities
● Complete administrative and housekeeping duties to company standards
Experience and Certifications required:
● A keen interest in electronic security or technical engineering environments
● Experience within CCTV, Access Control or structured cabling is beneficial but not essential
● Good working knowledge of PCs and media devices
● Strong communication and organisational skills
● Full UK driving licence
● Willingness to undertake training and career development
