Are you a Fire Suppression Business Development Manager based in London and looking to drive growth across the South of England? As a Fire Suppression Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for identifying, developing, and securing new business opportunities within the residential fire suppression sector. You will be working for a leading UK company specialising in the design, supply, and installation of fire suppression systems.

Responsibilities:

Identify and develop new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, marketing initiatives, referrals, and tender submissions
Arrange and attend client meetings and presentations to promote fire suppression systems and services
Achieve agreed activity levels, sales targets, and performance objectives
Develop and manage national sales opportunities before handover to the operations team
Maintain accurate customer and opportunity records, ensuring documentation is completed and filed correctly
Produce regular reports, including sales forecasts and pipeline updates
Represent the business professionally at all times, maintaining strong client relationships
Stay informed on legislation, standards, and product developments within the fire suppression industry

Experience and Certifications Required:

A minimum of several years’ experience in a Business Development or Sales role within the fire suppression or fire safety industry
Experience developing relationships with Specifiers, Consultants, and End Users
Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
Highly self-motivated with a proactive business development approach
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
