About the role
Job Title: Fire and Security Service Engineer (Service Technician)
Location: Reading
Salary: From £32,000 to £40,000 per annum
Are you looking for a Fire and Security Service Engineer position working in Reading? As a Fire and Security Service Engineer, you will be expected to service, maintain and fault-find across a range of fire and security systems, ensuring systems remain fully operational and compliant. You will be working for an established fire and security specialist supporting commercial client sites across the region.
Responsibilities:
● Service and maintain fire alarm, CCTV, access control and intruder alarm systems
● Carry out fault finding and repairs across installed systems
● Complete service reports and documentation accurately
● Deliver a high standard of customer service on site
Experience and Certifications required:
● A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role
● Experience of servicing fire and security systems
● Experience of fault finding across multiple system types
● ECS or CSCS Card preferred
● Relevant fire and security experience required
