Year 6 TA – Mornings Only

Hours: Mornings only (8:00am start)
We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Year 6 Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in the S72 area of Barnsley from September until December.
This is a fantastic opportunity to support pupils during an important stage of their primary education, working closely with the class teacher to help prepare children for their KS2 SATs.
The ideal candidate will:

• Have recent experience supporting pupils across Key Stage 2, ideally within Year 6.
• Be confident delivering interventions and supporting children with KS2 SATs preparation.
• Have excellent communication and behaviour management skills.
• Be proactive, reliable and able to work effectively as part of a team.
• Hold a relevant Teaching Assistant qualification or have equivalent school-based experience.
