Are you an experienced Year 5 Teacher looking for your next teaching job in Rotherham? We are recruiting a dedicated and enthusiastic Key Stage 2 Teacher to join a welcoming primary school from September 2026.

This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate Primary Teacher, KS2 Teacher, or Year 5 Class Teacher who is committed to delivering high-quality teaching and helping pupils achieve their full potential.

The Role

As a Year 5 Teacher, you will:

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the Key Stage 2 National Curriculum.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all pupils can thrive.
• Assess, monitor and track pupil progress to ensure high levels of achievement.
• Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all pupils.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents and support staff to support pupil development.
• Maintain high expectations for behaviour, attainment and wellbeing.

Requirements

To be considered for this Year 5 Teacher role, you should have:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Experience teaching in Key Stage 2, ideally within Year 5.
• Strong knowledge of the Primary National Curriculum.
• Excellent classroom management and behaviour management skills.
• A commitment to raising standards and supporting every child’s learning.
