Retail Sales Assistant

The Role

As a Sales Assistant, you will represent Lush on the shop floor, helping customers find suitable products while supporting the store’s sales, presentation and operational goals. You will work closely with colleagues to maintain an engaging, inclusive and well-organised shopping environment.

Typical responsibilities include:

• Welcoming customers and learning more about what they are looking for
• Using product knowledge to provide personalised recommendations
• Demonstrating products and preparing tailored samples
• Helping to deliver inclusive in-store and external events
• Supporting sales targets through engaging customer service and creative product promotion
• Replenishing stock and keeping shelves ready for customers
• Maintaining a clean, tidy and visually appealing shop floor
• Adapting displays to reflect seasonal products and priorities
• Helping to control costs by reducing product waste
• Taking part in training to strengthen product knowledge and customer service skills
• Communicating openly and respectfully with colleagues, managers and nearby stores
